Good Link for Overseas Funding

Hi guys,

Laying low these days because my left hand is funky—Could be repetitive motion stuff or that evil spider that bit me there three weeks ago! Anyway, I'm sure it will be find soon....But just a short note today....I wanted to share this site with you because it has some great links for overseas travel as well as some cool links and projects involving Turkey. Turkey is one of those countries where it is hard to find funding to travel there so I was happy to get this link from my friend. Check it out: http://www.caravansarai.info/index.php?/library/projects-and-resources/

Hope you all are well!
Love,
Mirabee

showtime: eugenio merino @ adn galleria, barcelona

opened last week in adn galleria, barcelona: "we don´t need another hero", the latest solo of eugenio merino. eugenio's new installations present iconic objects from warfare & military environment transformed to new narratives by positioning, add-ons or direct amendments. beautiful, flashy & absurd, they turn their dramatic context into sarcasm and vice versa.
the works of the show include “peace medals” (collection of war medals which use the peace sign, see detail above), the sculptural group “no return policy” (two 'packed' soldiers in express mail service’s boxes), “victory or death” (installation of hands with two fingers making the peace sign, rolled up with barbed wire) & our absolute favourite: “damocle’s sword”, a missile hung on colored balloons.
on display till december 11 & a 'must-see'! :-)
