alwar balasubramaniam's art of substance and absence
sculptor, painter and printmaker alwar balasubramaniam presented his intriguing installations @ ted india last year. his artworks play with time, shape, shadow & perspective: four tricky sensations that can reveal - or conceal - what's really out there. the presentation starts perhaps a bit slowly, but get increasingly interesting, so make sure to watch it till the end - very inspiring.
