During his travels through West Africa, Dutch photographer Pieter Hugo made a series of intriguing portraits documenting the movie industry of Nigeria. These pictures stage local movie stars from Nollywood - the term used to describe the Nigerian movie industry, representing the 2nd biggest movie industry worldwide, in terms of number of annual film productions - in scenes referring to local myths and symbols.
