a while ago we posted silvio giordano's video packaging's life on the blog, now we came across his new photo work. the picture is realized together with stefano boring & titled 'tank man 2'. a parody on the famous 'tank man' (a photograph by jeff widener from 1989, depicting an anonymous protester stopping a row of tanks on the beijing's tiananmen square), tank man 2 - by staging the original scene, but replacing the row of tanks by row of shiny hummers - contemplates on the dictatorship of 'big, beautiful & costly' machines, the tanks of our era.
