Each month we ask that you submit a painting (any medium) that fits within the theme of the upcoming month! Hence, Leslie's August painting is listed here. So, we will start with "September" and encourage you to start thinking of ideas for paintings that tie in with "September". We suggest you post your "September" painting on your blog on the the first day of September. We also want you to send us a photo of your painting and we will post it here. Details for posting are on the top right side of this blog. You can send us photos of your paintings anytime and we will start to post them on the first day of the month and continue until the 15th. (So you can submit paintings for the month of September until September 15th.) After that date, we will start accepting photos for the next month! This is a challenge and not a contest. Remember, we just want to have fun. And we are hoping that next year at this time, you will all be publishing calendars featuring your monthly paintings. (Listen to the "Christmas in July" show if you don't know about the monthly calendar idea ...) Happy painting!
