couple of weeks ago rotterdam had the chance to admire some fine rodents behind the window of galerie de aanschouw in witte de withstraat. these splendid creatures are the creation of robert pennekamp. they differ in sizes, color & anatomy - some of them have teeth, eyes, tattoos & even whiskers (= 'snorharen' in dutch :-)). besides temporarily residing in gallery windows, their nature habitat is robert's studio & kitchen (see pic above).
