queer technologies is an art project by american artist zach blas. mixing his interest in gender & sexuality with deleuze's thesis that technology is social before it is technical, he developed "queer technolgies". the concept consists out of a series of products ranging from gender adapters over queer programming anti-language software to gay bombs user's manuals. all these are put them in a real web shop environment. rhizome recently published a very interesting article with zach. must-read!
