Anish Kapoor's Leviathan @ the Grand Palais

Indian-born and british-based sculptor Anish Kapoor's Leviathan is installed for the Monumenta exhibition at the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées, which runs until 23 June and marks 30 years since Kapoor first exhibited in Paris. As a gesture of solidarity, Kapoor has dedicated Leviathan to imprisoned Chinese artist Ai Weiwei.

Though we read some rather disappointing comments, comparing the interior/exterior experience of Leviathan to not much more than a giant rubber bouncy ball, we wouldn't want to miss examining this impressive huge balloon firsthand. We are planning to do so next month, so stay tuned for the HFA review! :-)
