David Shrigley is hot! You might remember his solo show at Frieze last year where Stephen Friedman Gallery stand was transformed in "Shrigley land" with the artist present, tattooing some of the visitors. This year, he is again omnipresent on the art fairs as well as museums and gallery shows, with his drawings, taxidermy art, animations and sculptures.
Next week, Paris gallery Yvon Lambert opens his solo show, "Thoughts". With 200 drawings and a dozen giant ceramic eggs installed across the exhibition space and displayed at different heights, the shows promises to be one not to miss. "Thoughts" will be on display till the end of August.
