WRITING FELLOWSHIPS, REGIONAL GRANTS AND MORE

Greetings all....sorry I haven't been posting as much as I usually do. It's been a crazy summer and will continue to be a rather busy fall. I will post as often as I can though, at least once a week. You might want to consider becoming a regular subscriber via email or RSS feed (see right hand side-bar) to get post alerts. It's free and there could be something perfect for you! In the meantime, here are a few opportunities coming up. And just so you know, if you are an American artist (writer, musician, etc.), many regional grant applications will be due this September so get going on those applications. You can find the links to your state by going here: http://miraslist.blogspot.com/2009/03/individual-us-regional-artist-grants.html. Oh, and one one more thing...once in a while, and especially now since the infamous crash, a residency will close or a grant will cease to exist. Or an opportunity published on a website (like the French Cultural Council's page for example!) is no longer available. I apologize for this and will do my best to double check everything when I can. But if I can't and you find out information that you want to share with others, please write a comment following a post. Thanks! Have a great Sunday....
